galbadian?

Galbadia is the most powerful continent in the world of FFVIII. It has a president, a garden, lots of cities and towns and even it's own desert prison!

Now, as to if Ellone is Galbadian, or not. Some may say she's Asian, but since there is no Asia in FF8, she just can't be. Based on someone Asian, sure... But back to Galbadia. Winhill is a part of Galbadia, and that's where we see Ellone in her youngest years. We do not know where she was before that, nor does she remember. Only that Adel was responsible for her parents' deaths.

Which leads us to Esthar. Adel ruled Esthar, but she had ways of finding out the happenings of other continents and it is pretty far-fetched to think Ellone was from Esthar.

Balamb? We do not know of any other instance of her being in Balamb, except when she was at Garden.

Centra? Nothing except Edea's Orphanage is there. Same for Trabia. No connection whatsoever.

So I don't know about you, but I think Ellone is pretty Galbadian -looking. They often have dark hair and brown eyes (Raine, Rinoa sometimes), it is almost like a special trait among them. Or maybe it's just me.
