Wow. You actually want to know something about me? Cool.

Well, my name is Laura (in reality and web) and I was born on December 15, 1988. I'm also Finnish. You know Finland, that not-so-small country between Sweden and Russia? No? That's okay, not many know it. You know Nokia and Santa Claus? Oh, good! Those are from Finland. See, we aren't so little after all! ^^

Anyway, I was born in the US, so I needed an international name. I'm half-American. I just returned from my year in Kansas as an exchange student. I've graduated high school and am planning to enter a university in Tallinn and study international relations.

School aside, I like history and cultures, expecially the eastern cultures and mythology. Oh, and languages. I LOVE languages. Tell me something in yours and I'm ready to learn! I love art, but sadly I haven't drawn anything lately....Also, I'm quite musical (I play the piano and guitar and love to sing and dance).

I work at McDonald's which is really ironic since I used to hate the place. I don't eat marine food and can't understand what people see in coffee. Or tobacco. Or drugs and alcohol. Go figure.

I'm actually quite a boring person, now that I think about it. =P

PS. This is quite scary. Whenever I go to Greece or Turkey or China or somewhere, where the people have a darker skin tone or something, everyone STARES at me. Even in Greece. I mean, many Finnish people go there, how am I different? I guess since I'm so pale. Once this girl in Shanghai said that I'm beautiful because I'm so pale. It's just really strange that in here no-one notices me, and when I go to China everyone's all "Oh, look how pretty she is!" It's flattering but strange.
